Just barely hanging on to a few leaves back in early November, we met up with Nancy and Kevin - a super sweet couple we had met at James and Steph’s wedding back in May.  I remember seeing them together and thinking they were adorable together back then, and now here we are shooting their wedding in April!  They are extremely laid back and nice, and it’s pretty much impossible not to like them.  They also have one of the sweetest proposal stories ever that took place in the most magical place in the world: Disney World.  For that reason, much of their wedding has a Disney or fairytale theme.  We can’t wait to be a part of it!  In the meantime, enjoy some of their engagement images:

Now that the holidays are done and over, let’s hope we can get ourselves back into gear for this blog!  We are properly ashamed of ourselves! 

Way back in October, we met up with 2 very special people: Bryan & Jenna.  We are so psyched to get to work with them since Ted and I both went to college with Bryan and Jenna is pretty much amazing.  Never could I have imagined someone better for Bryan than Jenna!  She is sweet, funny, and put together (not to mention beautiful!).  These two will be getting married this June, and I already can tell you, it’s going to be an awesome day!

A few weeks ago we met up with Jill, Thomas, and their little fur baby Zoe (yes that is Zoe the puggle number 2  for those of you who are paying attention!).  I know Jill had felt a little flustered that day coming in from work, but she and Thomas just fell right into their roles as models for the camera as if they do it everyday!  Zoe was the hard one to photograph since she was going about 100 miles per hour the entire time!  Good thing we use fast lenses!  :)  Check them out!

After the baby left, Jill and Thomas showed us what they are really made of!  I love watching them in action.  They are so happy to be together!

Shooting with Lisa and Chris was an absolute joy!  Not only did they suggest shooting at West Side Market (which is one of our favorite places), but they are so much fun!  I don’t think either of us stopped laughing the whole session.  Lisa and Chris are bright, happy, quirky, cute - pretty much just the kind of couple you can’t help but fall in love with!  One of my favorite parts of their relationship is how much they adore each other - I don’t think Chris takes Lisa for granted even for one second and it definitely shows in their images!  I can’t wait for their wedding day!  On top of all that personality stuff they are also pretty darn gorgeous!  Check them out!

A few weeks ago, we met up with Ashley and Bill over in Peninsula.  Ted and I have recently discovered a love of biking and have found several cool spots in the area from our journeys that we thought would be perfect for a spunky couple like Ashley and Bill.  You can tell this couple has fun with each other no matter where they go!  There was never a problem getting them to laugh, have fun, and enjoy each other - you can tell it’s what they do best!  I love seeing all of the different relationships played out in our job, and Ashley and Bill are a textbook example of why we’re so lucky to do what we do!  Check them out!

This spot was pretty crazy!  There was seriously a 50 foot drop under their feet, but Ashley and Bill didn’t question it for a second.  Word to our other couples: if you’re willing to be a little brave, you will get awesome stuff like this:

If you noticed a ton of stuff being put up on the blog, its because there is literally a ton of sessions to put up, and hopefully we’re making some progress here! Shawn and Lora were a referral from James and Steph, who got married this past May. We headed downtown for their session and found really nice light to play around with! Lora and Shawn are rockstars in front of the camera - I don’t know if they do modeling on the side professionally or something, but they were a piece of cake!  Lora has the most beautiful shade of red hair I think I’ve ever seen (not to mention the most beautiful smile!) and Shawn was busting out the Abercrombie look like nobody’s business!  It was one of those sessions where Ted and I just had to show up and press the button…well a little more than that, but you know what I mean!

I know I know - we are so behind on the blog it’s ridiculous!  We officially apologize and hope to get caught up this week.  We have so much new stuff to put up on here that it’s ridiculous, so keep posted for everything!

A couple weeks ago, we met up with Ashley and Jason, who take the prize as being one of the most interesting and fun couples we have!  Ashley is an entomologist and has been known to ask for bugs as presents from Jason!  It’s hard to think about Jason giving Ashley a bug though when they’re together - they are silly, they’re adorable, they’re fun - they have a great relationship and I feel honored to be able to document just a part of that for their big day coming up in September!

I don’t even know what to say about Joe and Jennifer!  What a couple!  They were seriously made for each other and for the camera.  It didn’t matter what we suggested or did, these two owned it and had blast doing it!  It seemed everything they did was tailor-made for photos - Joe even has this amazing Mustang that they drove for a prop and  Jen wore shoes to match!  They are friends of one of our favorite couples from last year Molly & Jason, and we are so thrilled that we are the lucky ones that get to document their big day!  Their photos are already decorating our new viewing room, and now I have to put them up here to decorate the blog:

When Ted and I first met Mona and her mom a few months ago, we were pretty excited to hear about their big day coming up this December.   We felt an instant connection with Mona and as soon as we met Rami, we knew we were set!  They are so fun together and great in front of the camera!  All you have to do is say the word ‘laugh’ and Mona cracks up - which is exactly what we wanted her to do!  We started a little later in the evening and were able to take advantage of some cool sunset opportunities that we normally don’t have time for as well as get eaten by about a million mosquitoes.  All in a day’s work! 

They are so sweet together.  They both think they are the lucky one in the relationship.  I like that.
