Back on September 25th we spent our Friday with Joanna and Dan and family friends in Mentor for their big day. The ceremony and reception were held at La Malfa on what turned out to be a gorgeous early fall afternoon. Eventhough we didn’t have a ton of creative time with these guys, we still came away with some really beautiful images! Joanna and Dan opted for a first glance (at the last minute!), which always provides for a really emotional and fun sequence of images. La Malfa did an outstanding job as usual, and we were lucky to work with John from the DJ Crew, who kept the dancing going well into the night. We actually shot an after session with Joanna and Dan about a week ago which was phenmonal, so be sure to look for them again on the blog in the next couple of weeks. Onto the images…

Dress time!

Joanna workin’ the camera…

The boys had some details too…

I’m a fan of unique cuff links, and Dan’s rocked out!

I liked the shades…

Rachel and I LOVE LOVE doing First Glances for a lot of different reasons. Aside from the photography aspect, its what we choose for our own wedding and we wouldn’t have done it any other way!

As I mentioned, always a great sequence of images!

I love this one!

Joanna and Dan were great walkers…

A little detail…

Ceremony…

Happy!

Married!

One of the best parts of family photos is capturing images with the grandparents!

We headed out to our impromtu location behind La Malfa after the ceremony to capture a few more images of the party…

The girls!

The guys…

A few more with our stars…

Onto the first dance…

…and toasts…

The party was going strong all night!

A few more at the end of the night…

A little reflection love…

Probably my favorite image of the day. Love it!
