It’s hard to imagine that Neil and Katrina’s wedding was over a year ago! They have been awesome clients to work with, and we were of course excited to be able to shoot their after session downtown right around their one year mark! Rachel and I are huge fans of after sessions, or what a lot of people call “Trash the Dress” sessions. We tend to view them as an awesome extension of wedding day, where time is no longer a factor, giving us the ability to go to a lot of unique locations that wouldn’t be possible on the actual wedding day. Here’s a sampling from their session we photographed back in April!

Some of you might remember Dan and Joanna’s wedding from a few months back, and naturally we were thrilled at the chance to spend some more time with them at their after session this fall. These guys are the best clients anyone can hope for, and Rachel and I have really enjoyed getting to know them better these past few months. One of these images of Joanna has even made it on our new banner we are going to use at our upcoming bridal shows this coming year! Enough talking, onto the images…

One more!

It seems it was just yesterday that we were shooting Jenny and Troy’s big day (which was nearly three months ago, its crazy how time flies!), and now we got the awesome opportunity to shoot an after session with them! We are huge fans of after sessions, as they allow us an unlimited amount of time to capture beautiful images of the bride and groom and use locations that would have been hard or difficult to get on for various reasons on wedding day.  It also allows us to take more control of the time of day and take advantage of the most flattering light available. Jenny and Troy are sweet, fun, and extremely kind hearted individuals that we’ve really enjoyed getting to know over the past several months! Rachel and I have had such a great time working with them, and it was great getting to see the newlyweds one more time before the summer came to an end. Hope you guys love these images as much as we do! Here’s a sampling…

It seems like Natalie and Jon’s wedding was ages ago (January actually, but hey, it was a while ago), so it was nice to finally meet up again with these guys to rock it out for their after session. Their January 3rd wedding some saw great weather (we were able to do nearly all our images outdoors!), but were definitely a little warmer this time around. Rachel and I had such a blast shooting their wedding that we have been anticipating this session for a few months now. Natalie and Jon are as laid back as can be, and I think we really just click with them beautifully! Not only this, but they are incredible together, which makes our job oh-so-easy. We headed downtown to try a few new spots we’ve been wanting to use, and wrapped up closer to home right before sunset. Here’s a little sampling of what we got!

A couple of days after their wedding, Rachel and I met Kristie and Joe out at Kristie’s Mom’s farm to shoot their after session. Kristie’s mom owns an absolutely breath taking piece of property, complete with beautiful fields, an awesome barn, plenty of animals, and even a huge lake in the back. It was pretty amazing, and it served as extremely well for the session! We focused mainly on Kristie for this session, but Joe was around and we definitely added him to a number of shots as well. We started in beautiful late afternoon light, which kept getting better as the evening went on. Here’s a sneak peak…
