We were super excited to see that the kind folks at CakeandPictures.com decided to feature Emily and Josh’s beautiful wedding form this past May on their wedding blog, The Pantry. Be sure to check out the post featuring their wedding by clicking here!

Emily & Josh’s Windows on The River Wedding!
Where do I start with this wedding? Maybe something like, “Josh may, quite possibly, be the luckiest man on the planet”? Or, “Emily is one of the reasons I do what I do”? No matter what I say about it, words kind of pale in comparison to Emily and Josh - Emily’s spunky personality, Josh’s willingness to do anything for anyone, and their obvious love for each other can’t really be described very well. You just have to meet them! As for the day, the weather was crazy - raining one second, and sun glaring the next, but honestly we didn’t mind one bit. Not only did we have pretty much the perfect couple, but they also had an amazing bridal party and family, they did a First Glance, and happened to be at Windows on the River - one of our favorite places! We also got to work with the one and only JR from Selective Sound! It was one of those days that we come home from and say “That’s why I love weddings!”

There was a lot of laughs going on in the morning…

Smokin’!

Onto to Josh!

Rachel and I obviously think a lot alike…

We love doing First Glances with our couples!!! Here is Josh and Emily’s First Glance sequence…

Priceless!

A few more images at the Key Center before we headed off to our locations…

Yeah, Emily works it!

The weather was pretty wild all morning, it started off sunny, and then some rain moved in pretty quick. We headed for some cover with the whole group!

It completely cleared up by the afternoon!

A few ceremony details…

Love this image of Emily getting ready to walk down the aisle. It also provided some inspiration for our end of the night shot…

Love it!

I’m really lovin’ this end of the night shot!

Thanks again guys. You seriously rock!
Kyle & Samantha’s Canton Wedding!
We don’t get the chance to go out to Canton much - we’re usually spending all of our time downtown Cleveland! So we were excited to use a bunch of new (and fresh) spots we found while out scouting the week before! We knew this day was going to be a good one - not only are Kyle and Samantha beautiful, but they are probably one of the nicest couples we’ve ever worked with! The weather turned out to be kind of gross - cold, rainy, and windy, but it didn’t even matter to them! Not only did they brave the elements and do everything we asked of them, they also went out of their way to make sure that we knew how much they appreciated us! <3!!! Also, we got to work with Brian and Susy Morris from 2nd Mile Productions (you can check out their same day edit from Samantha and Kyle’s wedding here)! I KNOW it’s going to be a good day when we work with them! :) Thanks for a wonderful day guys! Despite the wind, cold, and off and on rain, we are so pleased with the results!

Getting ready!

Love the reflection!

Samantha’s eyes are amazing!

Kyle isn’t too bad himself!

We absolutely LOVE when our couples choose to do a First Glance. It leaves a lot of time for portraits, and we always capture an awesome sequence from when the bride and groom see each other for the first time! Here is Samantha and Kyle’s First Glance…

The rain was threatening, but we stayed outside for as long as we could!

The rains finally came, so we headed inside of the beautiful McKinley Grand Hotel for some indoor portraits…

Back outside!

Back inside! The weather was wild!

Love these two images!

Onto the ceremony…

Married!

They were some pretty cool locations right near the church as well!

We love bright colors! We loved this location…

Randi & Adam’s Windows on the River Wedding!
Back at the beginning of May, we had the great pleasure of spending the day with Randi and Adam on their wedding day. Boy did we get lucky! We had been looking forward to this day since we met them - with their laid back personalities and gorgeous good-looks, we knew it was going to be a good day. It was supposed to rain all day but God was looking out for us - it only rained until we started picture time! *Phew* Even if it had rained, it wouldn’t have mattered - Randi & Adam have that magic of making any photo look good! :) Thanks guys for being so awesome! Check them out:

Love!

Onto our groom…

Randi and Adam opted to do the ever popular First Glance with us. Here’s a few from the series!

Love these two images!

Myles and Sarah’s Engagement Session
This is a great time to post some images from Myles and Sarah’s engagement session, seeing as that their wedding is coming up towards the end of this month! We had another absolutely gorgeous late afternoon to work with, and Myles and Sarah were excited to fially get in front of the camera. Myles even brought along his new Canon 7D, which I of course couldn’t resist using for a handful of images. We are really excited to continue with you guys in a few weeks, see you on the 25th!

Wade Lagoon has some pretty awesome light coming through late in the evenings, we love it!

Love this!

Kevin & Nancy’s Cleveland Courthouse Wedding
We’re chugging right along on the blog here, making up for some lost time, and we are finally up to Kevin and Nancy’s beautiful wedding from back in April. We always love getting to work with friends of past clients, so when James and Steph sent over these guys to meet with us last year, we were thrilled! Eventhough the weather was threatening us later in the afternoon, we were still able to make use of our time around downtown Cleveland and hit up some great locations for our creative time. We even caught the beautiful blooms (notice how I keep saying blooms, that’s because I honestly have no idea what kind of trees those are, haha…) in action downtown as well! The reception details were amazingly gorgeous, and everything came together to make a really perfect day. Thanks again guys for choosing us to photograph your wedding day, we had a blast!

I love these images of Nancy’s dad seeing her for the first time in the morning!

Our stunning bride!

Let’s not forget mom…

Michael & Renee’s Engagement Session
Back in April, we got the chance to head downtown with Michael and Renee to shoot their engagement session at some cool spots near the flats. These guys were really excited about trying out some grungy and unique spots around the city, and we were equally as excited to shot their gorgeous selves! We’re looking forward to their wedding coming up this September, it’ll be here quick guys! Check out a few images from their session…

We had about a week’s window for these blooms, and Michael and Renee were one of the lucky couples to take advantage of the beautiful pink tones!

Love this spot!

Definitely my favorite of the session!

Neil & Katrina’s After Session
It’s hard to imagine that Neil and Katrina’s wedding was over a year ago! They have been awesome clients to work with, and we were of course excited to be able to shoot their after session downtown right around their one year mark! Rachel and I are huge fans of after sessions, or what a lot of people call “Trash the Dress” sessions. We tend to view them as an awesome extension of wedding day, where time is no longer a factor, giving us the ability to go to a lot of unique locations that wouldn’t be possible on the actual wedding day. Here’s a sampling from their session we photographed back in April!

I loved the light in coming in here…

Probably my favorite!

Some more snazzy light…

Katrina works it!

I loved this new area we found…

Taylor’s Portrait Session
What an awesome time we had photographing Taylor a few months ago, this girl really rocks it out in front of the camera! We had an absolutely beautiful day to work with, and a new location we’d been itching to photograph at for quite some time. We’d couldn’t be happier with the results! Thanks for workin’ it girl, we had a great time capturing some killer images of you! A few favorites from her session…

I really love this one from Rachel!

Love the blue…

This is one of my favorites from this year so far!

This blue dress was to die for, and the rocks were quite the backdrop…

Another favorite…

Another location we were thrilled to be shooting at!

Eliot’s Portrait Session
Way back in 2007, Rachel and I had the privilege of photographing Chris and Michelle’s wedding, and a few years down the road we are thrilled to be able to document their little guy Eliot! We’ve photographed Eliot a few times in the past few years, and its been great seeing this little guy keep getting bigger and bigger! Chris and Michelle have the perfect home for a portrait session, and I have to say that Eliot was a ham in front of the lens all morning. I think its safe to say that good looks run in the family! Check out a few previews from our session a few months ago…

Way too cute!

Love it!

I love these next two images as well…

Like father like son!

Of course we had to head to Eliot’s room for a few images as well…

It’ll be the Wall Street Journal in a few years…

One more!
